This is a trailer for a new film called Girl Walks Into A Bar, but I’m not sharing this trailer with you because it looks like it’s going to be a good film, or that it’s a good trailer, but because of the fact this film may well revolutionise the way we watch films in the future, as this movie will premiere on the 11th March on YouTube, absolutely for FREE!
It is a multiple story line comedy directed by Sebastián Gutiérrez and it follows the story of a group of apparent strangers in interlocking stories taking place in 10 different bars in Los Angeles over the course of one night. This will be the first movie of it’s kind made exclusively for web-distribution, and surprisingly actually has a pretty good cast as well, starring the likes of:
- Carla Gugino(Watchmen)
- Zachary Quinto(Star Trek)
- Danny DeVito(Matilda)
- Josh Hartnett(Pearl Harbour)
- Rosario Dawson(Seven Pounds)
- Emmanuelle Chriqui(You Don’t Mess With The Zohan)
- Aaron Tveit(Ghost Town)
- Robert Forster(Jackie Brown)
- Amber Valletta(Hitch)
- Gil Bellows(The Shawshank Redemption)
- Alexis Bledel(Gilmore Girls)
From the trailer the film looks OK and seems to be a really sexual film, but regardless if you think it looks good or not the fact it’ll be on YouTube for free will get the film a huge audience! It’ll be interesting to see how well the film does being distributed on this format and it could maybe set the path for the future of the movie industry.
The film will Premier exclusively on YouTube on 11th March. Check out the trailer below.
